Does anyone know the brand of stock adapter on this 7600. I notice some of the other stock adapters have the grip built in and the others have a strange angle to the stock. I want one that has the stock running parallel to the barrel and have the option to change out the pistol grip. If anyone knows where I could get one that would be even better. :)

I think that Shopaussie bloke sells them. ATI is the brand I believe. He has to get them pinned before he can get them in apparently.

Just found that

So you're chasing the stock that doesn't angle downwards from the receiver?

Yea I don't want the one with the angled down stock and the one in the link has a fixed pistol grip.

I think those cleavers ones are the angled down type. That's what they have on their custom overpriced short barrel 7615.

the stock being angled down will make the scope higher and easier on your neck

I don't think that will be a problem. When those stocks are mounted on an AR15 the stock sits parallel to the bore and directly behind it. I think I will mainly be using it with a red dot sight of some description and it should sit slightly higher above the stock than an AR15's would anyway. When I do get a scope for it I could always get some higher rings if that did become a problem. Also I don't really like the look of those angled down stocks. :)

Looking at the pictures your link and mine side by side Yes the paragon is slightly lower at the heel but not by much. maybe 1 inch lower.

But hey if that isn't what you are looking for I tried :)

Mesa make an adaptor then you can use the AR15 tube and any aftermarket grip and butt.
Cant remember who stocks them, maybe shooters?
I have the ATI pistolgrip stock on mine and it is very comfortable, has a slight downward angle but its good

alkapitano,

The stock adapter in the picture you posted is a MESA Low Tube Adaptor http://www.mesatacti...index.php?id=55

You can also get the High Tube Adaptor which lines the stock up with the barrel (much more like an AR15). http://www.mesatacti...opic.php?id=765

I have a Cavalry Arms Stock adapter which looks the most AR like in my opinion. http://www.shooting....-1317472126.jpg

I have a spare 10 round steel .308 mag for the Rem 7600P if you're interested PM me.

I have a low tube adaptor and hogue finger groove pistol grip sitting here if you want it. I took it out of the pack and screwed a buffer tube and stock into it but its never been mounted to anything. The ungrateful bastard I got it for decided he wanted a High Tube which should be here on Monday

M4/AR style stocks pop on the buffer tube which screws into the back of the adaptor just like a real AR15 stock. You can pin the stock so it can still be removed from the buffer tube or just buy another buffer tube if you want to mount a different stock. BTW collapsible stocks are perfectly legal in QLD as long as the overall length of the rifle with the stock collapsed meets requirements ;)

PM me if you're interested in the Low Tube adaptor.
EDIT: Sorry mate someone else beat you to it :D Adaptor and grip sold pending funds ;)

I think I'm going to go for a high tube mount now :P. Also does anyone know who makes the full length top rail/heat shield.
