Need Help to Identify .22 bottle neck centre Fire Cartridge

hi Guys here is another one
I am stuck on this one as well
On the right you have a normal .22LR for comparison.

Identified as the

297/230 Morris Long

here are some dimensions;

proj .22
Case Dia base .296
Case dia Top .235
Case Length .800
case Rim .350
Length ovr 1.902

Its very close but no the same
the neck is much longer and base is shorter..

G'day Decoy,
The case OAL seems wrong at 1.902". If case L=0.8" then by your measurement the projie is as long as the case, which by the photo it clearly is not. Could we have case L, cartridge OAL and base to shoulder please? The cartridge by appearance looks like 297/230 Morris Long or Extra Long (1.125"OAL with a longer neck length than Morris Long) Cheers, No1Mk3.

sorry guys the OAL 1.086

and this photo threw me he has no23 id as the Morris Long

But i found a another site indicating the picture is incorrect in the above site.

This is a 297/230 Morris Long
